Current Season of Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy is currently in its 6th season which premiered on Thursday, September 24, 2009 on ABC. It is currently one of the most popular TVs during prime time.
In this season, TR Knight is no longer a series regular and the recurring cast memember Jessica Capshaw is now a series regular. Katherine Heigl is still on Grey's Anatomy. New residents also joined the Seattle Grace hospital when Seattle Grace merged with Mercy West. The residents includes Dr. Reed Adamson (played by Nora Zehetner), Dr. Jackson Avery (played by Jesse Williams), and Dr. Charles Percy (played by Robert Baker). And beginning on November 12, 2009 Dr. Teddy Altman (played by Kim Raver) joined the cast a a cardiothoracic surgeon and Iraqi-war veteran (who served alongside Dr. Owen Hunt).
